1. Don’t leave your dog in the car.

We leave something in the house and want to run and get it; we need to take a bathroom break during our road trip; we only plan to be “in and out” of the store. No matter the situation, don’t leave your dog in the car. Dogs don’t have the sweat glands that humans do. This means they rapidly overheat, especially in closed spaces. 3. Get a haircut.
Long-haired dogs experience especially-torturous summers. Some dogs even have multiple layers of fur. While this provides a bit of extra comfort in the winter, the summer calls for a haircut.
